Partrix Fire GmbH is a fire protection company specialising in manufacturing and developing aspirating smoke detection systems. This year, Partrix Fire brought its newest aspirating smoke detection system, PNED, to INTERSCHUTZ 2022 with the exclusive revolutionary particle charging technology.

"At the very early stage of the fire, especially in the pyrolysis stage, nano smoke particles are released into the environment with intensive concentration, creating the earliest sign of the catastrophe. However, their sizes are typically around 50 to 100 nanometers which are below the lower detection boundary of laser scattering technology." The Partrix Fire senior technician team member Anton said when presenting the demonstration.
"That's where our PNED C -Ultra with particle charging technology would kick in with the integration of our early detection systems to overcome the drawback of laser technology. It has the capability to sense smoke particles with a diameter above 20 nanometers."
INTERSCHUTZ is the very first step of Partrix Fire to participate in the competition. We successfully performed our first show at the event and impressed every visitor who had a great interest in the new technology and tried to seek a new ASD system across the market. Partrix Fire will always deliver customers consistent and promising product quality, protect people's safety, and maintain business continuity.
"What we really have here is the next generation of aspirating smoke detectors. Particle charging technology utilises an entire different detection mechanism compared to laser scattering technology. That's why it has much higher sensitivity than laser ASD and is able to reveal nanoscale smoke particles. The smoke detector can only be more sensitive in the future, and the PNED C-Ultra is just a starting point."
The Partrix Fire managing director said.

"In fact, particle charging ASD focuses on both particle concentration and particle size to assist with the analysation of smoke characteristics and leads to accurate smoke detection. It is a multidimensional detection mechanism."
Partrix Fire performed over 120 product demonstrations and consumed more than 150 test samples during the entire trade fair.
With more than 6 years of development, the particle charging ASD, PNED C series, has become a powerful solution for early fire and smoke detection, specifically in the pyrolysis stage of the fire. In INTERSCHUTZ 2022, the PNED C series granted a great opportunity to demonstrate its outstanding detection performance to our customers and compare it with the latest laser scattering ASD. It clearly shows the difference in alarm time between particle charging ASD and laser ASD using different test materials.
