The safety and stability of warehouses and storage facilities have always been the cornerstone of a sustainable logistics supply chain. That is why it is critically important to ensure that warehouse facilities are free from the threat of fire. Warehouse storages have the following features: wide space, high ceiling, and a variety of goods. The challenges of fire warnings in warehouse storage facilities are intense. A wide space with a good ventilation system could quickly dilute the smoke particles, which increases the difficulty of detection. High ceiling design is not conducive to the collection of smoke particles by the point type smoke detectors located on the ceiling. A variety of goods could potentially enhance the development of fire, especially those containing highly flammable materials, making the development extremely unpredictable.

Laser L series PNED ASD are well designed for these challenges. L-Series ASDs are available in single or four-pipeline sampling modes, with pipelines up to 1200 meters long (expandable to 2500 meters) and a total coverage area of up to 4000 square meters. For high ceiling and wide space facilities, the Pipeline Configuration Software(PCS) can optimise pipeline design for different warehouse layouts to accomplish the best fire detection performance. PCS can also deposit sampling points in high-risk areas containing flammable materials to ensure the safety of goods. Additionally, the Laser L series ASD is equipped with a unique large particle rejection system to detect large irrelated particles, eliminating the large particle nuisance and reducing the possibility of false alarm. For black smoke released by special chemical fires, PNED C-Pro series detectors can overcome the drawback of the laser L series detector caused by light absorption of the black particle cluster and improve the performance of black smoke detection.
